Have you ever bought something because of an advertisement?

Once or twice, yes.

Last year, I saw a tiny phone tripod in a video on social media and bought one on the spot.

The thing is, I've hardly used it since.

I guess I just fell for the marketing, but at least it was cheap.

Do you often see advertisements when you are on your phone or computer?

All the time, actually.

Whenever I watch something online, I'm bombarded with ads.

Usually, I just tune them out and wait for the skip button.

It's a bit creepy, though, how well they know me.

I mean, lately it's all skincare and study apps.

Is there an advertisement that made an impression on you when you were a child?

Oh, yes, a milk advert with a really catchy jingle.

I was about seven, and I sang it all day long.

It still gets stuck in my head sometimes.

Actually, the advert worked on more than just me.

Customers at my parents' shop kept asking for that exact brand.

Do you like advertisements?

Honestly, not really.

Most of them go for the hard sell.

And when the same one plays three times in a row, it really gets on my nerves.

That said, they pay for the free apps I use, so I put up with them.

What kind of advertising do you like?

Funny ones, and the shorter the better.

I like adverts that are a bit tongue in cheek.

Oh, and the ones around Tet about people going home to their families always tug at my heartstrings.

I know they're just selling something, but, I mean, if it's done well, I don't mind.
