Câu hỏi và câu trả lời mẫu

Did you enjoy travelling by car when you were a kid?

Oh, I loved it, mainly because it was such a rare treat.

We only had a motorbike, so my dad would hire a car twice a year to visit relatives in the countryside.

My aunt's family usually came too, so we were packed in like sardines.

Honestly, I thought it was brilliant.

What types of cars do you like?

Small, practical ones, I'd say.

I quite like those little electric cars you see all over the city now.

They're easy to park and cheap to run.

Sports cars look amazing, of course.

The thing is, on roads full of motorbikes, they'd be more trouble than they're worth.

Do you prefer to be a driver or a passenger?

I'd much rather be a passenger.

I've only got a motorbike licence, so I reckon I'd be a nervous wreck behind the wheel.

As a passenger, I can just sit back and let someone else deal with the traffic.

Mind you, I'm a bit of a back-seat driver, so my friends don't always love having me along.

What do you usually do when there is a traffic jam?

Well, luckily, the traffic in Da Nang is nowhere near as bad as in Hanoi.

When I do get stuck, I check a map app for back streets first.

If there's no way round, I just inch forward with everyone else and grin and bear it.

I mean, there isn't much else you can do on a motorbike.

Do you think car colours are important?

To some extent, mostly for practical reasons.

Obviously, black cars turn into ovens in the summer sun, and they really show the dirt.

Then again, plenty of people here choose a colour based on their birth year, for luck.

My uncle swears by it, which is why his car is a rather loud shade of yellow.
