Câu hỏi và câu trả lời mẫu
Do you like cooking?
I do, yes.
It relaxes me, and I get to eat exactly what I fancy.
The thing is, my mum taught me, and she never measures anything.
It's all a pinch of this and a dash of that.
So I learned mostly by trial and error, and, I mean, my first dishes tasted different every time.
Did you cook when you were a child?
Only once that I remember.
My mum never let me near the stove.
But when I was about fourteen, she came down with the flu, so I made her some rice porridge.
Oh, and I mixed up the sugar and the salt.
She still ate half of it, though.
I guess she knew I meant well.
What is your favourite food?
Mi Quang, I'd say.
It's a local noodle dish with just a little broth, but it's packed with flavour.
You crumble a sesame rice cracker over the top.
If a week goes by without a bowl, I get a real craving for it.
Believe it or not, I found it a bit plain the first time.
Do you prefer eating at home or eating out?
Lunch out, dinner in, basically.
At lunchtime I go with my colleagues to a cheap rice place, where you just point at the dishes you want.
We leave a bit before half past eleven to beat the rush.
In the evening, though, I can't be bothered to go out again.
Honestly, I'd rather cook something quick at home.
Do you often eat fast food?
Hardly ever.
The last time was when a colleague got promoted and treated the whole team to fried chicken.
We wolfed it down at our desks, and I must say, it really hit the spot.
Mind you, my keyboard needed a good clean afterwards.
