What was your childhood dream?

I wanted to be an architect.

I used to draw houses on the back of my homework, with slides instead of stairs.

Well, they were a far cry from real buildings, because nothing was ever the right size.

I mean, it was probably always a pipe dream, but I loved it at the time.

Are you the kind of person who sticks to dreams?

I'd say so, as long as it feels realistic.

Big goals scare me a bit, so I break them down into small steps.

Last year, for instance, I decided to run five kilometres without stopping.

Basically, I added a little more every week, and I got there in about two months.

What is your dream job?

Running my own little bakery, ideally.

I'm studying business and I love baking, so it'd be right up my street.

Having said that, I'd need a few years in an office job first to save up and learn the ropes.

Oh, and my mum reckons I'd eat half the cakes myself.

Do you think you are an ambitious person?

Quietly ambitious, I suppose.

I don't talk much about my plans, and I try to keep my feet on the ground.

But I've set my sights on an internship at a big international company next summer.

Actually, I've already started polishing my CV for it.
