Câu hỏi và câu trả lời mẫu
Do you like reading?
I do now, but I'm something of a late bloomer, I suppose.
Before university I hardly ever picked up a proper book.
Then a classmate lent me one about habits, and I read it from cover to cover in two evenings.
To be honest, I surprised myself.
What kinds of books do you like to read?
Psychology, mostly.
I like books about why people behave the way they do.
The best one so far, I'd say, was about introverts, and it was an eye-opener.
I mean, I'd always thought being quiet in big groups was something I had to fix.
Apparently, it's just how some people are.
Do you prefer paper books or e-books?
Paper, every time.
The thing is, I like underlining sentences in pencil and scribbling in the margins.
It's just not the same on a screen.
Plus, on my phone I'd be checking messages every two minutes.
Actually, I buy most of mine second-hand near campus, and some even come with a stranger's notes in them.
Did you read a lot when you were a child?
Not proper books, no, but I devoured comics.
My friends and I passed the same Doraemon comics around for years.
We even read them under our desks in class, until a teacher confiscated a whole pile.
So yeah, I guess that's where it all started.
When do you usually read?
On weekdays I can only manage a few pages between classes, so my progress is painfully slow.
At the weekend, though, once I've finished tutoring, I treat myself to a whole hour with a book.
I suppose it's turned into a little ritual.
Actually, it's the hour I look forward to most all week.
