What's the weather like in your city?

Well, it's hot and sunny nearly all year, apart from the rainy season in the last few months.

By lunchtime in summer the sun is beating down, and the seat of my motorbike gets burning hot.

I mean, that's the only reason I ever bother parking in the shade.

What kind of weather do you like best?

Sunny but not too hot, I reckon.

We get a few weeks like that in spring, you know, when the mornings are fresh and the sky's clear.

It's a welcome break from the heat.

I make the most of it and take the long way home along the beach.

Has the weather ever affected your plans?

Yes, last year, actually.

Our company organised a trip to Ba Na Hills.

It was sunny in the city, but the mountain top was shrouded in fog, so we couldn't see a thing.

It put a real damper on the day.

That said, we ended up having a great time playing cards in a cafe up there.

Does the weather affect your mood?

Quite a bit, I'd say.

On a bright morning I'm full of beans, and my colleagues hear all about my weekend.

A grey, drizzly day does the opposite.

It really gets me down, and they can tell something's up when I go quiet.

To be fair, we don't get many days like that outside the rainy season.
